Drawing from personal experiences, Team Tattva Shodh from ICT – Mumbai designed a point-of-care device for monitoring conditions during pregnancy. The team comprising experienced researchers came into the I-NCUBATE program expecting to find customers and learn how to market their product.
As they went through the 8 weeks of customer discovery, they realized the importance of putting customer needs front and centre, rather than their product features. The team were able to size their market, characterize their target customer and chart a clear path forward. The team proudly proclaim that they came into I-NCUBATE as researchers, but by the time they completed the program, they were thinking like entrepreneurs.
